Paula Schwartz, owner and stylist, has thirty years experience as a hair professional. She has completed advanced training with top industry leaders, such as Trevor Sorbie, Martin Parsons and the Roffler School of Design. Since owning her first salon in South Carolina, Paula has continued to tour as a guest artist/educator for John Paul Mitchell Systems, L’Oreal USA Professional and the Cricket Company. Paula believes hair is nature’s most beautiful compliment and PS Hair Studio strives to reflect a passion for cutting and styling hair in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.

In addition to being a professional educator in her field, Paula has had the great opportunity to work in New York City for Vartali Salon at 57^th and Park Ave., where she received credits in a major magazine for a “Who’s Who” list of haircutters in Manhattan. Along with her work at the salon, she was stylist to top modeling agencies such as Ford, IMG, and Elite.

PS Hair Studio is an innovative hair design studio recently opened on First Street in Downtown Benicia. We specialize in creating shape and balance to reflect your individual preferences.

After moving to Benicia, Paula started working with a San Francisco-based photographer doing hair, makeup and styling for photo shoots featuring well-known musical groups/artists, authors, and celebrities for their magazine and trade publication presentations. She invites new clients to visit PS Hair Studio and enjoy the unique experience of having a haircut and custom color designed just for them—a look that perfectly matches your preference and lifestyle!
